Who can use this feature?
🔑 Needs an Administrator license to configure the approval workflows
🧑💼 Needs a developer who is experienced with Power Automate
Microsoft Power Automate-enabled contract approval workflows enable you to dynamically assign approvers to various contract lifestyle stages based on an external source of truth.
This approach is an alternative to the in-app approval workflows which can be created and maintained within LawVu alone. If you don't require the use of an external source of truth when it comes approval routing, check out our Automated contract approval workflows instead.
By integrating Power Automate with LawVu, customers can assign approvers based on:
A decision matrix hosted outside of LawVu (e.g. in SharePoint)
Information stored in other systems (e.g. HR or Identity Provider)
This is ideal for organizations with complex approval policies, as it leverages Power Automate’s flexibility to ensure contracts are approved by the right stakeholders in an efficient, standardized manner.

How do I get started?
To activate this feature, contact your Implementation or Customer Success Manager. They will enable it on your account and provide a Power Automate template to help you get started.
The template will be a useful starting point. It is based on a SharePoint-hosted decision matrix. You can extend or customize it further to fit your organization’s approval policy.
💡 Need a Power Automate template? Request one from your Implementation or Customer Success Manager.
