What is Polish text?
Polish Text helps you improve the grammar, clarity and flow of your text. It
It focuses on language quality rather than legal content.
The module corrects clear grammar and spelling mistakes.
Once the suggestions are generated, you can insert all changes at once or apply only a selection of changes.
Afterwards you can insert them with or without track Changes enabled.
Unlike Word’s built-in grammar checker, Polish Text takes context and meaning into account when suggesting improvements.
Why use Polish Text?
This feature goes beyond Word’s standard spellcheck and grammar tools, which focus on predefined rules and do not fully understand context or meaning.
Use it when you want to:
To catch grammar inconsistencies and spelling mistakes - Go beyond Word’s spellchecker with a smarter review that understands full sentences.
To run a final language check - To do a quick polish before sending a document out.
When not to use it:
If you want to legally review a document - Polish Text focuses on language, not legal accuracy or correctness.
How to use it
Select the text to review
In your Word document, highlight the text you would like to review or improve.
The selected text will automatically appear as a new tab at the top of the screen.Work with multiple sections (optional)
You can review and polish different parts of your document in parallel.Click the “+” button to add another text selection as a new tab
Switch between tabs to edit each section independently
Polish the text
Click Polish Text to generate suggested improvements.
LawVu Draft will refine the text for clarity, grammar, and readability.Review and apply changes
Once polishing is complete, choose how you want to apply the suggestions:
Insert redrafted text, or
Insert with changes to enable Track Changes.
You can also copy the proposed text to your clipboard.
If you only want to apply some of the changes, review the suggestions individually and deselect any you don’t want to keep.
Clicking a suggestion prevents it from being applied and keeps the original text.
