LawVu Draft icon is greyed out or not responding in Microsoft Word
If the LawVu Draft icon appears greyed out or the add-in is not responding in Microsoft Word, the issue is usually related to the document format or the add-in needing to be reloaded.
LawVu Draft only works with the modern .DOCX format.
If the add-in is greyed out, you may have opened a .DOC file. This is an older Word format that is not supported by Microsoft’s modern add-in architecture.
In Microsoft Word, go to File → Save As.
Save the document as Word Document (.DOCX).
Reopen the file.
The LawVu Draft add-in should now be active.
Reload the add-in
If LawVu Draft is open but not responding, you can reload the add-in.
Click the arrow icon (<) in the top-right corner of the LawVu Draft panel.
Select Reload.
This refreshes the add-in and often resolves temporary issues.

Click the arrow icon (<) in the LawVu Draft panel.
Select Attach Debugger.
Take a screenshot of the debugger information.
