Forgetting your password can be a real hassle. Still, if you follow the steps outlined below, you should have no problem resetting your password and getting back into your account.
1 - Go to go.lawvu.com / eu.lawvu.com / us.lawvu.com, depending on the stack where your account is located.
2 - Enter your email address, and a password prompt should appear - click the 'Reset password' link shown below.
3 - The below dialog box will appear. Click on the Send reset link.
4 - This will send the password reset link to your email. Click on the Reset Password link to complete the password reset.
5 - The link will direct you to the password reset page, where you can create your new password. Note: Passwords should need to be 10 characters or longer and be fairly complex. The system will indicate if the password is strong enough and will also provide suggestions.
6 - Once done, you will get the message that the password reset was successful and to log in to LawVu using the new password you have set.
What happens when you do not receive the password reset email in your Inbox?
First, make sure that you have entered the correct email address when requesting a password reset. If the email address is correct, you should also check your Spam, Junk, and other folders.
If it is not in any of those folders, reach out to our Support Team via the chat bubble found on the lower right-hand side of the LawVu app. Our team can further investigate whether the email is being returned or blocked for any reason.
Note: Password reset links are sent once every 10 minutes. Therefore, if you have recently requested for one and have not received a new password reset email after the second attempt, we recommend waiting.
Why do I keep getting an "Invalid token" message when resetting my password?
This error likely arises from using an outdated link for resetting your password. For a new link, simply click on the "Reset password" option once again. Doing so will generate a new link and send it in a new email to you, allowing you to reset your password.
What happens if the password box and reset option don't appear?
This means that your organization uses an enterprise login management system called 'Single Sign-on'. In this case, you'll need to go back to your organization's internal IT Team, and they'll be able to help you out.
I still couldn't log in after successfully resetting my password. What should I do?
