Bugfixes:

  • Users received an 'internal error' message when they tried to share saved views with other team members. Sometimes things just aren't the same after one of the crew leaves. No one was taking the departure of a colleague harder that our shared saved views. They refused to render for anyone once someone had left because, well, things just weren't the same without them. We've explained to our saved views that losing people is just a part of life, and armed with this new philosophical outlook they've decided to display for the remaining viewers.

  • The search index didn't display lookup, multi-lookup, and person fields results. Typically when searching in global search, you can search using field options to bring up results. Lookup, multi-lookup, and person fields had been excluded from the search index. It takes a certain amount of bluster and bravado to live with an omission like this. Fortunately, the LawVu engineering department is entirely lacking in these qualities, so we just fixed this issue pronto.

  • Users didn't receive matter intake, and matter members added notifications when they were auto-added to matters. Auto-adding members is a very convenient way to organize your matters upon creation. It's so good that there's really no point keeping it a secret. Now members will once again be notified they've been added to matters.

  • Conversation notifications remained unread even after reading messages in the conversation. The ebb and flow of the tides, the moon in its eliptic, the rotation of the earth; all examples of cyclical events in nature. Much like this unread conversations issue. We have corrected it again, hopefully for the last time.

  • Fields unticked to display in preview of matters were still visible in preview. There's some things that we would all prefer to be hidden; photos of my fashion choices in high school leap to mind. The matter preview mode wasn't respecting user selection of hidden fields. This has now been rectified.
