A clearer view of contract version history
Contract version numbers now stay sequential, even when a version is deleted, so you always have a reliable view of how a contract has evolved. Deleted versions are tucked into a collapsed Deleted versions section, keeping the main list clean while preserving the full history.
Edit Teams in the Matters grid
Users with grid editing permission can now update Teams from the Matters grid.
Easier navigation with long names
Need to quickly navigate and find items with long names? The sidebar adapts to your workflow, and full names appear on hover, making navigation faster and clearer at a glance. This improvement applies across areas like Departments, Matters, and Contracts types.
Quickly add law firm users to matters
Need to add a law firm contact to a matter? Just scroll or search in the people picker. No more checking the directory.
See voided invoices in the spend management grids
Need to see voided invoices? They now appear in the spend management grids, with filters to hone in on the data that matters.
LEDES invoices generated by LawVu now contain the invoice description
Invoice descriptions from LEDES files now appear on PDF invoices and on the invoice details panel, giving reviewers and AP teams the detail they need at a glance. Law firms can also update the description during upload to keep invoices clear, accurate, and easy to process.
DocuSign tip: Fix an envelope after it’s been sent
If you use LawVu’s managed DocuSign, you can correct an envelope even after it’s been sent for signing — and yes, that includes when someone has already signed.
Important note: Only the person who created and sent the envelope can edit it. This can’t be delegated or shared.
How it works:
Open the contract that was sent for signing.
Click Signing to open the Signing panel.
Select the file you want to update to see its current signing status.
Confirm you’re the original sender (only the sender can make changes).
Click Edit to open the envelope in DocuSign and make your updates — including adding recipients.
When you’re done, continue in DocuSign or discard changes if no updates are needed.
