We've made it really easy for you to keep on top of work flowing into your LawVu account from your various clients.

How intake works
When matters are created, the matter owner (usually someone from one of your clients) will assign a matter manager (someone from your law firm) to that newly created matter.
In most instances, the matter owner will know who they want to assign as the matter manager and that person will receive a notification directly.
However, if the matter owner doesn't know who to assign as the matter manager, then they can simply select your law firm (as an entity) and assign that as the matter manager. This will make the matter fall into your intake queue for that particular client.
The person in charge of managing that intake queue will receive a notification (in-app or email depending on the user's notification settings) of the new matter and can then review the matter from the intake queue and assign it to the appropriate person in their team as the matter manager.
Permissions
You must have the 'Intake Manager' permission to access the Intake queue.
If you're unsure if you have the 'Intake Manager' permissions, just click on your profile (at the top right of LawVu) and click 'Client access' from the menu on the left.
Note: Contact your Org administrator to enable your Intake manager permission for a specific client.
Where is the intake queue
Firstly, log into LawVu and go to the 'Matters' area. From there, you will see a number notified against 'intake' indicating any of your clients that have matters in the intake queue.
Just click on Intake to see all the matters in the queue.
Once there, you can click on the matters, review them, and assign the correct person to be the Matter Manager.
As an intake manager, you also have the option to reassign matters directly from the grid. Simply check the box on the left side of the matter entry and then click on the people icon to select the 'Edit matter manager' option.
