LawVu AI Assist is a companion tool lawyers can use in their contract review process. The tool is capable of generating a summary of the contract and providing a comprehensive overview of its content.
While it’s not legal advice, it can help extract important details, including the parties involved, key dates, signatories, the scope of work/services, payment terms, liabilities, and warranties.

How to use it
To access the AI Assist feature in a contract you're a member of, simply click on the AI Assist icon located in the top-right corner of your screen.
Select 'Quick questions' or type your question below. The Quick questions links to 4 pre-set questions :
You'll receive the answers to your questions for you to consider as part of your legal advice. You can also evaluate the accuracy and value of the response it provides by using the thumbs-up/down vote.
Use quick-copy to copy the response to the clipboard so you can easily capture or share the information.
The LawVu AI Assist for contracts has the ability to provide answers to multiple inquiries related to each of your contracts. Here are some examples:

Who can use the feature?
The feature is available in the full contract view ( not preview ) by In-House, Contributor and Administrators who are contract members.

Can you limit who sees the questions and answers in the AI Assist panel?
The queries and responses generated by the AI assist feature are accessible to all users with complete contract access. If you initiated the discussion, you have the option to delete a question by clicking on the ellipses button beside it.
Are there any known limitations?
The AI Assist function is unable to operate with scanned PDFs, and it may also not work immediately after creating a new contract since the file needs to be indexed. This process usually takes a few minutes to complete, after which the AI Assist feature should be fully functional.
This feature utilizes AI functionality and can't be relied upon as any form of legal advice. You must review all output before further processing or use.
