Review fields against the contract file
Once all your contracts have been imported in LawVu, and the AI has run, identified, and extracted the metadata, you can begin reviewing the fields alongside the contract file. To do this:
Add the 'Data Review' attribute to your 'All Contracts' grid.
2. Filter the 'Data Review' column on 'Review' to see which contracts need your attention. For easier access, save this view under your saved views.
3. Click on the 'Review' button to bring up the data review modal. This modal displays the LawVu fields panel on the left, the contract document in the center, and the AI extracted data on the right-hand side. This offers a comprehensive image of all the information in one view.
4. If your organization used AI to extract additional data, the location of the data is highlighted within the document. By clicking on each field, you can jump to the exact place where the data is found in the contract file.
This works both ways. Clicking inside the file will highlight the field in the data review modal. This adds considerable speed to the process of the review.
If needed, use the 'Copy to Clipboard' option to copy the information from the Extracted data model to the LawVu Panel fields.
5. When you are happy with the review, you can mark it as complete and move to the next contract. Once a contract is marked as complete, the status in the grid will change to reflect that. Changes to the fields can also be made at any moment and are automatically saved.
Use the navigation arrows to navigate quickly between bulk imported contracts without exiting the data review modal. This makes it easy to jump between contracts.
Note that the Review functionality is only available to clients during their initial implementation phase and only for contracts that are imported in LawVu via the data import process.
It does not apply to contracts that were created in LawVu.
