Customize contract expiration reminders

You can now set reminders for 30, 60, 90, and 180 days before contract expiration to ensure you are notified with sufficient time to conduct reviews and to take action—whether it’s renewing, renegotiating or terminating.

Simply click on the calendar icon next to the Expiration Date field and select your preferred reminder options.

Simplifying matter manager assignments

Matter managers no longer need to manually accept assigned matters, ensuring a more efficient workflow without unnecessary steps or confirmations. This change has been applied for all customers and is the default setting. But if you would like Matter Managers to receive notifications prompting them to manually accept assigned matters, simply navigate to Settings > Matter Management > Matter Acceptance and toggle the switch to enable this feature.

Set your team up in 2025 with these useful tips to get more value from LawVu.

Key date reminders: Key dates can be used to record any other important dates for which the contract owner/member wants a reminder. Schedule key date reminders on your contracts 30 days in advance to ensure tasks are completed on time. This gives all contract members timely reminders with plenty of time to spare to prepare.

Interact with reporting dashboards to quickly filter, analyze and surface metrics important to you: Designed for ease of use, our out-of-the-box reports allow you to click on any metric to dynamically update the entire dashboard. Charts and graphs will instantly reflect the data you select, making analysis faster and more intuitive.

Use your to-do list: Your to-do list in LawVu is a tool designed to help you manage your tasks efficiently. Unlike tasks linked to matters or contracts, this list is entirely your own. With the ability to set specific date and time reminders, your to-do items seamlessly integrates into your planner, making it easy to stay organized. Your to-do is accessible via the Hub or the Planner.
