AI-powered Billing Guidelines Review
Speed up invoice reviews, flag non-compliant charges, and stay in control of your legal spend with less effort. LawVu automatically identifies non-compliant charges – things like discrepancies against your billing guidelines, or the use of unapproved timekeepers – ensuring your firms stay compliant with your Outside Counsel Guidelines and agreed rates.
Note: Free for all spend management customers.
Instant approvals via Outlook
Approvals shouldn’t force your business stakeholders to break focus and jump into another system. Legal and people across every department you work with can now review, approve, and decline contracts and invoices directly from their inbox - no need to open LawVu! Coming to Outlook on mobile and Mac very soon.
Enhanced Gmail integration
We’ve upgraded the LawVu Gmail add-in to give you a smoother, faster experience. It’s easier than ever to capture emails, use guided intake forms and turn email requests into structured, trackable work the whole legal team can see and action straight away.
AI-powered contract extraction
Getting contracts into LawVu just got easier. With our enhanced AI contract extraction, key contract details are captured and populated for you the moment you upload - no typing required! The result? Faster uploads, more accurate data, and less time spent on admin.
A simpler way to manage matter and contract types
We’ve redesigned how you configure matter and contract types with a new unified grid layout to make the process more straightforward, intuitive, and easier to maintain over time.
The new layout and configuration experience provides:
A streamlined, grid layout interface that offers clear visibility across all configurations of matter and contract types.
Unified place to manage all your matter and contract fields, avoiding duplication and simplifying maintenance.
Easier ways to create and organize fields wherever and whenever you need.
Search across fields to quickly locate what you need when dealing with long field lists.
Activate at the top of the page. Toggle the “Try the new experience” to open the grid layout.
If you need to return to the old version, toggle the “Switch to classic view" button. This lets you explore the new interface while keeping the option to return to the familiar setup.
Here are some highlights:
Preview matter and contract types with the new preview panel
Previously, it was difficult to see how a form would appear to users after making changes. Now, Show Preview lets you open a preview panel to view your Matter or Contract Type exactly as users will see it. This makes it easy to confirm that all fields and sections are displayed and ordered correctly before publishing.
Quickly spot where your fields are being used
Use the Field Usage view to instantly see where a field is used across different matter and contract types.
Access it two ways:
From a matter or contract type: Click the ellipsis next to a field and select View field usage
From the Field Library: Click the 👁 icon in the Field Usage column.
