Editable contracts grids 🤩
Need to make quick changes to your contract records? Now you can do it faster than ever with the ability to edit in the contract grid! It’s easy:
Click the pencil in the top right corner to go into edit mode.
Click on the pencil to edit a specific field right in the grid view
Click anywhere outside the edited field box or hit Enter to save your changes
Don’t forget: you can do this in matters grid too!

Let's take a look at some of the new reports and how you can be ready to rock them!
Matters: a great way to see how the work your team is doing for the business. Pro tip: If you haven't closed them or you see blanks in the report, you'll know some data hygiene is in order.
Contracts: See which contracts need to be prioritized based on contracts that are due to expire so you can take a proactive approach in managing key dates and meeting obligations. Pro tip: Make sure your data is up to date so you can get more accurate report across all your work in LawVu.

Save valuable minutes with every contract

Use matter tasks to get reminders about recurring to-dos
If you have tasks that need to happen on a regular basis (e.g. monthly audit report) and need to make sure it’s always on your to do list, use this tip to make sure you never miss your deadline!
If you're using tasks, you can use matter task templates and duplicate your matter. Here's how:
Watch this quick video to see it in action. In the video, David Webb provides an example of a simple workflow for monthly audit board reports.
Add a task in your matter to remind you of the need to duplicate a matter for next month
Duplicate the matter by clicking on the ellipsis on the top right hand corner of your matter record
Rename the matter to reflect the new month and keep files and tasks checked to ensure the list of tasks and files get carried over to the duplicated matter.
And voila, all your files, data, and tasks along with their respective owners are carried over to the newly created matter and all you have to do now is set new due dates for the matter and its associated tasks.
