Ready to ditch data entry, save precious minutes on every invoice, and reduce the time it takes to get the invoice and spend data you need in LawVu? AI-powered invoices is now automatically applied to every .pdf invoice uploaded in LawVu. The feature works by extracting and auto-populating values from 9 key data fields.

This feature is free to customers using LawVu spend management — so you'll automatically get a higher ROI and even more value from your investment in LawVu. And you don’t need to do anything to enable or configure it.

New spend management reporting and dashboards are now also live, with a few updates based on customer feedback from the early access program. Now it’s even easier to report on your total legal spend, identify opportunities to control costs, have better conversations with your LSPs, and stay on top of your budgets.

Your Outlook integration just got smarter. Now you can save and track the entire thread of your email conversation in LawVu so you and your team can have total context and visibility. To track the full history of your email conversation, simply tick the 'Save all emails in this conversations' box shown on the Outlook add-in.

The email selected will be saved along with all other emails in the thread. Each email in the thread will appear as an individual record on the email file. Unchecking this option will only upload the currently selected email from your inbox.

Now you can save versions of Word documents into LawVu with less effort. New enhancements give two options when saving your file:

If you need to copy a file from a matter, a contract, or from the knowledge base, you can easily do so. When inside the Files tab of the matter or contract you want to file into, click on attach files. You can then use the file picker to find the file from an existing matter, contract, or knowledge base.

We know that our customers spend a lot of time in their inbox, and finding the information they need can sometimes feel like finding a needle in a haystack…but when that information is in LawVu, you can find, search, and re-use it from LawVu, your single source of truth.

We’re making improvements to the way you view and work with emails and their attachments in LawVu, so it will be easier than ever to find and work with the information you have at hand.

Due to the release of our new and improved Insights Standard reporting, we will be decommissioning the old reporting on December 18th, 2023.

The old reporting that’s being removed is contained within the red boxes in the image below. If you are using the old reporting, we encourage you to learn more about our new Insights Standard reporting here. If you’re already using the new Insights Standard reporting, you do not have to take any actions.
