Here are some highlights from Q1 ✨
LawVu Draft
Draft, review, and refine contracts inside Microsoft Word, powered by AI and your own precedents, clauses, and playbooks. Your team spends less time on manual drafting and more time on work that needs legal expertise.
AI contract extraction
Upload a contract and LawVu automatically extracts and maps the key data to your LawVu fields. Jump straight to the relevant clauses to validate and spot changes across versions at a glance. Your repository stays accurate without the manual effort.

Spend management enhancements
Get immediate context on what's been billed with invoice descriptions on LEDES invoices. Bulk approvals speed up multi-invoice processing, and you can now set approval conditions based on pre-tax invoice value to match your internal policies.
Task management enhancements
What’s new:
Your active tasks appear on the Hub via a new Task widget, giving you an instant view of your workload on login.
The Tasks grid automatically sorts by due date, with color-coded indicators for overdue, due soon, and upcoming work.
On the planner, you can filter by assignee to focus on your own tasks or keep an eye on your team's.
Email integration enhancements
Set your default filing preferences once, and LawVu automatically saves and links emails to the right matter or contract record from Outlook. Gmail users can now label emails to specific records in LawVu, keeping every conversation in context.
More flexible default file access controls
We’ve introduced a more flexible approach that allows default file and folder access to be defined at the matter type and contract type level. This gives organization admins greater control over access settings so the right level of visibility is applied based on the type of work.
Note: Any changes you make to the access settings will apply only to newly created matter/contract types and to any matter/contract types you update going forward.
Improved contract approval visibility
The contract grid now shows the current approval status of every contract, including who the pending approver is when a contract is still in progress. Legal and business users get the same visibility, so they can both see where a contract stands without having to open it.
Bulk invoice approval
Approving invoices one by one is time-consuming, especially when multiple people have already reviewed them. You can now approve or decline multiple invoices at once through a new batch approval screen, accessible from email notifications, the hub widget, and your actions inbox. Individual invoice approval still works as before, and clearer visibility into underlying invoice values makes every decision faster and more informed.
AI tools are becoming the go-to for finding, drafting, and analyzing information. But getting useful, reliable results depends on how you ask.
In this practical webinar, you'll learn how to communicate with AI the way it actually needs to be communicated with and walk away with techniques you can apply immediately to your contract work.
Led by a former practicing lawyer who now builds AI products, this session will give you a grounded understanding of how AI interprets instructions and practical techniques you can apply immediately.
What we'll cover:
How LLMs interpret and respond to legal prompts (and where they go wrong)
Structuring prompts for drafting, reviewing, and redlining contracts
Giving AI the right context, constraints, and role to produce reliable output
Common prompting mistakes legal professionals make and how to fix them
Live examples using real contract scenarios
Who this is for: Practicing lawyers, in-house counsel, and legal professionals who work regularly with contracts and want to get meaningfully better results from AI without a technical background.
Can’t make it live? No problem. Register anyway, and we’ll send you the recording.
