Related records: Quicker ways for legal and the business to view, create and navigate to related records
Working with related records is an important action in LawVu when you want to access key information related to any given document - including links to other documents such as amendments, SOWs or matter records for related cases.
Whatâs new with this update:
A new panel in Matters and Contracts previews and details, making it easier for legal users to view and navigate to related records, as well as create new child matters with fewer clicks.
Your business users are now able to view and navigate between related records more easily and extract more context from the Business Portal.
This enhancement promotes greater visibility and context, fostering better collaboration between the legal team and the wider business.

Move contract types between groups: Organize and update your contract types faster
Attention org admins! Now you can move contract types between groups in 3 easy steps:
Click on the Settings icon at the bottom of the main navigation strip
Select Contract management >Contract types
Click on the three-dot ellipsis button on the right-hand side of the contract type, click Move and choose the group you want to move it to.
All new low/no-code workflow automation tool and LawVu Developer Center: Customize your workspace and speed up more processes

Whether youâre building for yourself, your company or on behalf of others, youâll find everything you need to solve unique problems for modern in-house legal teams.
LSP Directory enhancements: Centralize more information for better visibility, quicker workflows, and new insights
Now you can store new information about your legal service providers in your LawVu LSP directory. With an even more robust source of truth, your team will have better visibility into key details about firms and LSPs without leaving LawVu, including location, areas of expertise and files like billing guidelines and letters of engagement.
Youâll also enjoy these additional enhancements to your LSP directory and workflows:
Easily update and invite new key contacts on your own, without having to contact LawVu
Include new details, like internal ID and due date, on the accounts payable cover page

The new in-app email experience
When you leave your inbox behind and use LawVu as your single source of truth, youâll be able to find, search, and re-use your most critical information at any time. New improvements to the way you view and work with emails and their attachments make it easier than ever to find and organize information, and provide relevant context and visibility for others in your team.
Handy ways to export data
Our customers export their data to conduct further data analysis, create custom reports, or to share work with those who donât have full access to LawVu. Here are some examples of how you can make the most out of the export options in LawVu:
Export a matter and all files stored in the Files tab
Simply click the ellipses and click Export Matter to initiate the download of the .zip package containing everything related to the matter. When ready, click Download .zip file to save it to your local computer.
When unzipped, users both inside and outside of legal can enjoy the full HTML experience with links included, just like a real matter in LawVu.
Export grid views to create custom reports on your custom fields.
Simply click the Export icon shown below to download your grid view in .csv format. You can slice and dice the data as you see fit and build custom charts and graphs!
