Accelerate and streamline your contract approval process conveniently on the go — whether you’re traveling or working remotely. Now your legal team and your business partners can easily review, approve, or decline contracts directly from a mobile device with the all-new LawVu mobile app.
With the new mobile app you can:
Get notified for contract work in need of attention
Review, approve or decline contracts from your mobile device
Easily stay up to date with contract approval progress
Download today and try it out for yourself:
To get the most value, we’d encourage other people involved in your contract approval process to download the mobile app. Simply forward the app store link to other LawVu users in your team.
Edit executed date
Now you can change a contract’s executed date to capture the exact date a contract was signed, enhancing data and report accuracy. This can be done when a contract is uploaded or moves to the executed stage in LawVu. You can change the date directly on the contract record, from the preview, and from the contracts grid. This is especially useful when you need to upload a signed contract at a later date.
We’ve also added a new Executed date column on the business portal contract’s grid to provide business portal users with greater visibility over all their contracts.
Conditional approved invoice forwarding
Using LawVu spend management capabilities to streamline invoice approvals and capture key spend data? Now you can enhance your invoice payment process by automatically routing approved invoices to different teams based on conditions like department, region and invoice fee value. Setting up conditional forwarding is easy. Read this help article to learn more.
Our mission is to make our customers’ lives better with every feature and every click. We love working with you to improve LawVu, and we’ve recently invested in a collection of small updates that will make a big difference, based on your requests.
UI enhancements for permissions: Users whose permissions are revoked or who no longer have access to LawVu are now marked as 'Deactivated' instead of 'Disabled' to accurately reflect their LawVu access status.
Improved knowledge base article organization: Articles in the knowledge base are now neatly listed alphabetically within category and folders, making it easy to scan and find what you need.
Change LSP access level from Pending status: For spend management customers, if you've invited a legal service provider to LawVu but now want to revoke their access, click the Pending invitation icon next to their name and change their access to "No Access". They'll remain in the system and you can attribute your spend to them but won't have access to your data or see you in their directory. Click here to learn more about changing your LSPs access level.

Make it easy for the business to provide structured feedback
Create a new matter type called 'feedback' to capture feedback from the wider business. This matter type allows users to submit ideas and fosters a culture of continual improvement and helps the legal team initiate conversations with stakeholders. Here are some ways you can increase visibility on this easy way to provide feedback:
Create a matter type called ‘Feedback’
Surface it on the Business Portal for easy access. There are several ways you can do:
Add it as a feature tile to make it prominent on the portal
Add a new button on your business portal page and link it to the new Feedback matter type or to an existing feedback system such as company form or intranet page.
Want to create additional visibility? Create a grid view, filter on Matter Type and surface the key fields in the matter type. Use it in your team meetings to discuss business feedback and identify room for improvement.
Save time with LawVu for Word add-in to populate templates
If you have templates in your knowledge base like employment letters, cease and desist letters, and sales summaries, LawVu for Word add-in can help you quickly populate your templates with key data from LawVu to save time. This speeds up the process and helps identify missing critical information that needs to be captured and included in your documents.
See it in action below:
If you see value in using this functionality for other supporting documents that don’t currently have a template, get in touch with your organization admins to help set up the templates you need.
